Our Mission

The Association of Military Pre-Health Professionals (AMPP) exists to guide, educate, and inspire service members and veterans who aspire to join the healthcare field. Our mission is to provide mentorship, structured guidance, and community support that help translate the values of service, discipline, and compassion into successful careers in medicine and allied health.

Who We Serve

AMPP serves a broad variety of individuals within the military community, including:

1. Mentorship & Professional Development

We facilitate connections between military affiliated pre-health students and mentors across a variety of healthcare disciplines. Our mentorship model is being built to emphasize academic readiness, career exploration, professional identity formation, and continuing support from the mentorship network

We also aim to encourage institutions to better understand the needs and experiences of military affiliated applicants.
